Every summer more Black kids choose to join a summer swim team.
Their participation in competitive swimming is changing the way the Black community relates to the water, and in the process, changing the sport of swimming. Black Kids Swim is SO PROUD of all of the summer league swimmers featured in this video.
To encourage the development of more elite Black competitive swimmers, Black Kids Swim encourages Black kids to try the sport during summer swim season. The kids featured in this video had a great time improving their swim skills and competing with their team. We hope each of these swimmers will join a year round club team and continue developing into excellent swimmers.
