Black Kids Swim was founded to create more Black competitive swimmers. To accomplish our goal we must first encourage more Black people to swim.
This presentation was created to educate families about the many physical, educational, and professional opportunities available through swimming. The presentation guides participants through the historical relationship between African Americans and the sport of swimming Most importantly, participants will be encouraged to address and overcome fear of the water.
Use this presentation when addressing school, church, community center, or volunteer audiences to inspire them to register for swim lessons and join swim teams.
