Giles Smith Gives Expert Advice for Young Black Swimmers

Giles is a sprinter specializing in free style and butterfly who participated in the U.S. Olympic trials. Hailing from Baltimore MD, Giles is a 5-time All-American, 14-time Maryland state record holder, and the first high school swimmer from Baltimore to break the 21 second barrier in the 50 yard freestyle. As a senior in high school, Giles was the national high school record holder in the 50 free.
