Congratulations and thank you for becoming a member of the inaugural BKS Swim Parent Alumni Program!

Commitments like yours prioritize our children and transform lives. The BKS Swim Parent Alumni Program is designed to be a working unit that galvanizes the input of previous families and paves the path for future generations. With your help, this unique program will strengthen and grow the Black swim community.  And, together, we can change the world of competitive swimming.

In the next few months we’ll host our first meeting to discuss our strategies for our first initiative toward making a permanent change to the world of competitive swimming.

Some items currently on the table for development:

• Resource guides for incoming families
• “Best practice” frameworks for how to become an official
• Guidance on preparing for collegiate swimming
• “Find a Swim Team” and “Find a Swim Coach” database
• Social media program support
• Summer swim scholarships
