Advice from Parents of US National Swim Team member Giles Smith

Today, Black Kids Swim turns TWO years old! To celebrate, we are giving you more of what you love: expert advice for young Black swimmers.

Tonight, U.S. National Swim Team member Giles Smith will take your questions live on our website. We hope you’ll join us by sending your questions to us on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram.

Giles is a sprinter specializing in free style and butterfly who participated in the U.S. Olympic trials. Hailing from Baltimore MD, Giles is a 5-time All-American, 14-time Maryland state record holder, and the first high school swimmer from Baltimore to break the 21 second barrier in the 50 yard freestyle. As a senior in high school, Giles was the national high school record holder in the 50 free.
